PortAventura World is a huge amusement park<\/strong> which includes three different parks: PortAventura Park, PortAventura Caribe Aquatic Park and Ferrari Land.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Each park comprises its own special features! <\/em><\/p>\n

PortAventura Park<\/strong> is a theme park made up of several worlds: China, Polynesia, the Far West, the Mediterranean...<\/strong> <\/em>The worlds and their attractions can be reached via canals, ports or on foot. Aquatic Park<\/strong> is an aquatic playground and Ferrari Land<\/strong> is dedicated to the famous Italian brand and its founder Enzo Ferrari<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The theme park also features reproductions of famous Italian buildings, such as the Campanile in Venice's Piazza San Marco or the Roman Colosseum.<\/em><\/p>\n

Which park to visit?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

PortAventura World and its three parks can be visited separately or by combining days and tickets.<\/p>\n

The park is organized into several worlds: Mediter\u00e0nia, Polynesia, China, Far West, M\u00e9xico...<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Each world has its own attractions, restaurants and hotels...<\/p>\n

Mediter\u00e0nia <\/em>is the best-known and most iconic world. At the heart of this world, you'll discover incredible attractions such as Europe's fastest catapult\u00a0<\/strong>the Furius Baco<\/em> from 0 to 135 km\/h in almost three seconds over a 850-metre course.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

To move from one world to another, you have several options: the Port de la Drassana<\/em>a magnificent boat trip through the Chinese imperial port, via the Mediterranean and into the heart of Polynesian song.<\/p>\n

La Estacion del Norte, meanwhile, is a locomotive that takes you to the world of the Wild West...<\/p>\n

More than twenty restaurants associated with different worlds can be found on the site!<\/p>\n

Where to stay at PortAventura World?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

You can stay in the heart of the worlds: the hotels are associated with the different atmospheres recreated by PortAventura.<\/p>\n

Staying on site will give you the full experience, as well as discounts on park admission.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Between Colorado Creek<\/em> to feel like a cowboy, or an oasis in the Caribbean,<\/strong> you're spoilt for choice.<\/p>\n

If you want to save a little money, the park also offersa campsite.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The cost of a night for an adult starts at at around 35 euros.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Guided tour or Express Pass?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The park can get quite crowded in high season, and each attraction has a different timetable.<\/p>\n

To make things easier for you, the park offers the bracelet PortAventura Express Premium<\/em><\/strong> where a guide will show you around.<\/p>\n

However, the price is quite high: \u20ac350 per guide for 4 hours, \u20ac450 per guide for 6 hours, \u20ac550 per guide for 8 hours.<\/p>\n

Also, to avoid queuing, you can buy Express Pass<\/strong><\/em> individual lockers, entrance counters and vending machines.<\/p>\n

How much does it cost? What is the entrance fee\/price?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Prices vary according to the season, and it's obviously cheaper in low season.<\/p>\n

The tourist season naturally includes the summer vacations in July and August.<\/p>\n

A minimum of 45 euros per adult is required for one-day park access.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Know that it is cheaper to book online<\/strong> than at the counter.<\/p>\n

But keep in mind that if you have booked online<\/strong>you won't be able to exchange your ticket (if it rains, for example)...<\/p>\n

Indeed, a day in the park with the weather not cooperating can be less enjoyable...<\/p>\n

Note that there are also special rates<\/strong> for people with reduced mobility, large families or school groups.<\/p>\n

The park is closed in winter and starts opening at weekends in the off-season.<\/p>\n

About an hour from Barcelona and El Prat airport, you can get to:<\/p>\n

  • By car<\/strong><\/em> via A7 freeway (exit 1152) or AP-7 freeway, N-340, N-420, N-240. On-site parking is available at a charge.<\/li>\n
  • By train<\/strong> <\/em>on the R-16 line of Rodalies trains, the stop is PortAventura World. If you choose this option, your combined ticket will give you a free return trip. Find out well in advance how to take advantage of this discount by buying your ticket on the website! Think combo ticket!<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • By bus\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>The company Plana<\/strong> runs buses from the Costa Daurada to the park, and shuttles connect the main airports.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
