The only disadvantage of a rail pass for Spain is that you have to reserve a seat before each journey, as limited space is allocated to pass holders.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>How much does a Spain Pass cost? <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>First of all, you need to decide how many trips you're likely to make before you book. It's often more cost-effective to buy an 8- or 10-trip train pass, as the difference in cost isn't as much as you'd like. <strong>not very different.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc122925543\"><\/a><strong>Tips for travelling by TGV from Barcelona<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>First and foremost, I advise you to book your ticket in advance. Fares go up the closer you get to your travel date. If you book earlier, you'll benefit from the best fares. Some tickets can be booked up to three months before your chosen date, and it's impossible to reserve a ticket at the station on the day.<\/p>\n<p>I also recommend <strong>print your ticket<\/strong>. You must present a printed ticket ready to be scanned before boarding.<\/p>\n<p>Get to the station <strong>at least 30 minutes before the departure of your train<\/strong>. This is because there is a security check, with a baggage scanner and a ticket check before you can enter the departure platform.<\/p>\n<p>Travelling by TGV from Barcelona is a great way to discover the country.
