It also features a theme park and a huge castle-like church. You can also <strong>see Tibidabo from just about anywhere in town.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There are several ways to reach Tibidabo. You can <strong>take a train to bus 111<\/strong> that takes you to the top of the mountain.<\/p>\n<p>You can <strong>take the metro to Vallcarca<\/strong>. From Vallcara, you have to walk to the Tibidabo funicular, where you can either pay \u20ac12 to ride the funicular, or walk to the top!<\/p>\n<p>Whichever option you choose, the view of Barcelona from the top is incredible. Enjoy the view from the church, or pay a little extra to ride the Ferris wheel on the <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/en\/tibidabo-park\/\">Tibidabo theme park<\/a>. This place <strong>is also the perfect place to visit in the evening<\/strong>. It offers an incredible view of Barcelona.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/barcelone-vu-de-haut.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/barcelone-vu-de-haut.jpg\" alt=\"barcelona from above\" width=\"800\" height=\"500\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3227\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/barcelone-vu-de-haut.jpg 800w, https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/barcelone-vu-de-haut-300x188.jpg 300w, https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/barcelone-vu-de-haut-768x480.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc123379153\"><\/a><strong>Montju\u00efc<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The hill of <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/en\/montjuic-park-barcelona\/\">Montju\u00efc<\/a> is probably my favorite place in Barcelona. It's a big rocky hill that juts out directly from Barcelona's port into the city, and has beautiful gardens, several castles, Barcelona's Olympic Park and lots of paths and viewpoints.<\/p>\n<p>It's a must on any Barcelona itinerary, but there are also <strong>many different places on Montju\u00efc.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya MNAC for the sunset<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Outside the Palau Nacional, or the <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/en\/national-art-museum-of-catalonia\/\">Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya<\/a>you'll find a huge staircase that looks directly out onto the sunset on the <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/en\/magic-fountain-barcelona\/\">Magic Fountain<\/a> and the Pla\u00e7a d'Espanya. Here you can sit back and enjoy the view from the steps and the so-called \"Mirador Barcelona\" right next door.<\/p>\n<p>You can also <strong>visit the roof of the Palau Nacional for \u20ac2 more<\/strong>. Although the view is already spectacular, if you want to admire Barcelona, I recommend buying a ticket for the roof. Make sure you get there before sunset to enjoy a magnificent view of the city.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Pla\u00e7a de Sant Jordi<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>On the way to the other side of Montjuic hill, we have Barcelona's Olympic Park. With several stadiums and massive sports fields, it's well worth a visit. The Pla\u00e7a de Sant Jordi is a tiny park which <strong>faces the sunset perfectly<\/strong>. Here, you can enjoy a magnificent sunset behind a large statue overlooking Sants.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Parc G\u00fcell<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Visit <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/en\/parc-guell-barcelona\/\">parc G\u00fcell<\/a> is one of Barcelona's most famous and beautiful sights. Designed by the famous architect <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/en\/gaudi-barcelona\/\">Antoni Gaudi<\/a>Originally intended as a housing estate, Parc Guell has now been transformed into a public park.<\/p>\n<p>Parc Guell has tons of footpaths as well as unique, colorful buildings and original architecture that's uniquely Gaudi. Take a stroll through the park or <strong>simply relax on the tiled benches to see Barcelona from above<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc123379154\"><\/a><strong>Barcelona Arena<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>It's one of the most unique places in Barcelona. <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/en\/barcelona-arenas\/\">Las Arenas<\/a> is a huge circular brick arena that was once a bullfighting arena built in 1900. It has now been completely redeveloped into a huge shopping mall. <strong>with a rooftop offering the best view in Barcelona.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There are around 6 or 7 restaurants on the roof, all facing different directions to present different views of Barcelona. You can go up to the roof just for the view for \u20ac1.50, or you can enjoy happy hour or a meal in one of the restaurants. On site, you can choose between <strong>sushi, Italian dishes, tapas, seafood and more<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc123379155\"><\/a><strong>Barcelona from above: Montserrat<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/en\/montserrat\/\">Montserrat<\/a> is a mountain range with a historic ancient monastery nestled in the cliffs about an hour from Barcelona. If you have the time, Montserrat is well worth a visit. There are some exceptionally beautiful hiking trails, and you can also visit the monastery and <strong>see the statue of the famous Black Madonna.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc123379156\"><\/a><strong>Viewpoint from Collserola tower<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Visit <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/en\/torre-de-collserola\/\">Collserola Tower<\/a> is Barcelona's highest point. Like <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/en\/tibidabo\/\">Tibidabo<\/a>The tower can be seen from just about anywhere in the city, but few people know that it's open to the public. And few people take the time to visit it, <strong>the place is rather quiet<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc123379157\"><\/a><strong>Barcelona from above: the Sagrada Fam\u00edlia<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Did you know that there's a hidden place inside Barcelona's most famous tourist attraction? If you visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/en\/sagrada-familia-interior-tickets\/\">Sagrada Familia<\/a>If you're looking for a place to stay, think about climbing the towers and taking a look around the city.<\/p>\n<p>These towers are one of the highest points in the city. It's also one of the most unique places to visit in Barcelona. Be sure to buy a ticket in advance to save time and money. <strong>see one of Barcelona's most sought-after viewpoints!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Now you know where to find the best views of Barcelona from the heights of the city.
