When you enter the restaurant, you're immediately struck by <strong>the rustic, authentic atmosphere of the place.<\/strong> The stone walls, the wooden beams supporting the ceiling, the period decorative objects, all contribute to immerse you in the atmosphere of yesteryear.<\/p>\n<p>The dining rooms, all six of them, are tastefully decorated and seem to have escaped the notion of time. One can imagine that the walls have seen generations of guests and have preserved all those stories. Wooden tables, rattan chairs, white tablecloths and linen napkins are all part of the d\u00e9cor. <strong>reinforce this traditional, rustic feel.<\/strong> This place is a real trip back in time. You can discover Barcelona's history through its architecture, cuisine and atmosphere.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc125102703\"><\/a><strong>Can Culleretes: a place frequented by local celebrities<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Over the years, Can Culleretes has been a meeting place for <strong>numerous personalities from Barcelona and Catalonia<\/strong>. Politicians, artists, singers, poets, journalists, sports personalities and all other types of local characters have frequented the restaurant.<\/p>\n<p>Many of them have been immortalized on the walls of Can Culleretes, decorated with black-and-white photos scrawled with a few warm words. For regulars, these photos are a reminder of familiar faces and times gone by.<\/p>\n<p>There are also anonymous portraits of wealthy Catalans. These portraits testify to the importance of the period. <strong>in the history of Barcelona and Catalonia<\/strong>. The menu features dishes such as cannelons farcis (Catalan stuffed pasta), escudella (a typical meat and vegetable soup) and hearty wild boar or goose stews.<\/p>\n<p>These dishes are prepared according to traditional recipes and respect local ingredients. They are <strong>the test of time to become part of local history.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc125102705\"><\/a><strong>Can Culleretes: what are the opening times?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The facility opens :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tuesday to Sunday <strong>from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.<\/strong> and <strong>8 to 10:30 p.m.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc125102706\"><\/a><strong>How do I get there?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>To get there, I recommend you take public transport. Take the <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/en\/metro-barcelona\/\">metro<\/a> and <strong>get off at Liceu station on the green line.<\/strong> The restaurant is just a few minutes' walk from these stations.<\/p>\n<p>You can also take the <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/en\/bus-barcelona\/\">bus<\/a> and <strong>get off at the La Rambla\/Liceu or La Rambla\/Sant Josep stop.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you'd like to take a trip back in time, I recommend a detour to Can Culleretes.
