With departures every 5 minutes at peak times, it's also the most convenient option. There are two lines, A1 and A2, which operate from Terminals 1 and 2 respectively.<\/p>\n<p>L'A\u00e9robus takes you to <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/en\/place-catalunya-barcelona\/\">Pla\u00e7a Catalunya<\/a> in the city center, which is <strong>an ideal place to sightsee, eat and visit your first sights<\/strong>. The bus only runs during daylight hours. However, night buses have the same arrival point and are available outside public bus operating hours. It's always best to leave more time for your journey, because <strong>traffic can affect journey times.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>More economical, you can count on :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>2.15 per person<\/strong> to get to downtown Barcelona<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The journey takes a little longer. It takes 60 minutes to take you to the city's historic center.<\/p>\n<p>Bus 46 is available every day <strong>5.30 a.m. to 11.50 p.m.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc125446847\"><\/a><strong>Night buses N16 and N17<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The night bus system or \"Nitbus\" to Pla\u00e7a Catalunya is ideal for those who travel very early or late, as the cost is low and the journey tolerable, if not a little long. Visit <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/en\/bus-barcelona\/\">bus<\/a> stop regularly along the route if you need to get off en route. The disadvantage of public buses is that they don't always have suitable luggage space,<strong> as they are not designated as airport shuttles.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For your trip, you will need :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>2.15 per person<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The N16 is on the move <strong>from 11:30 p.m. to 5 a.m.<\/strong> The night bus is only available from Terminal 1.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc125446848\"><\/a><strong>Convenience and availability<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Although there are several transport options to get you to the airport, local buses can be long and inconvenient if traffic is involved. On top of that, they have several stops. <strong>The best option is the Aerobus shuttle<\/strong>Although it's a little more expensive, travel time is almost halved by this method.<\/p>\n<p>You'll need to be aware that you'll have to take a night bus after daylight hours, which can also mean long waiting times.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc125446849\"><\/a><strong>Barcelona airport shuttle ticket information<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Tickets are available in advance online for the Aerobus, but can also be purchased on the bus. All bus stops are located outside the arrivals hall. If you follow the \"bus and cab\" signs out of the airport, you'll be taken under the terminal to the Aerobus stop and other bus routes.<\/p>\n<p>There will always be a shuttle available to pick up at the airport, <strong>day and night.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc125446851\"><\/a><strong>Shuttle bus from Barcelona airport to hotel<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Although there are multiple transportation options to downtown, they are not extremely varied and do not offer door-to-door service such as <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/en\/cab-barcelona\/\">a cab<\/a> or a private trip.
