Here, you can take advantage of the fine sand to party in the evening and relax during the day. La Platja de la nova icaria is quite similar to that of <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/en\/barceloneta-neighborhood\/\">Barceloneta<\/a>. It's not unusual to hear, from this beach, <strong>the shouts of sarong and sangria vendors in Barceloneta.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Facing the beach, you can walk while enjoying the art that is so present in Barcelona. You'll find Frank Gehry's famous golden fish sculpture. Plenty of space, lots of sports fields and plenty of room to play. <strong>to welcome locals and tourists alike.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc130232175\"><\/a><strong>How do I get there?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>If you're not coming from Barceloneta beach, take the metro to <strong>Ciutadella Vila Ol\u00edmpica or Bogatell<\/strong>both on the yellow L4. Here you can <strong>play table tennis, enjoy the basketball baskets, soccer nets and volleyball courts<\/strong>. These are used for standard beach volleyball as well as for a hybrid form called foot volleyball.<\/p>\n<p>Imagine soccer and beach volleyball: your feet do everything your hands would normally do. What you <strong>discover a new sport during your vacations.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc130232177\"><\/a><strong>Quench your thirst between swims<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La Platja de la nova icaria is dotted with bars and restaurants. Here you can quench your thirst and enjoy a delicious freshly-cooked fish dish. <strong>Xiringuitos (beach bars)<\/strong> remain open all year round, even in winter. For a dose of fresh fish and rice at lunchtime, try Xiriniguito Escrib\u00e0 or Can Fisher.<\/p>\n<p>You can also find <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/en\/paella-barcelona\/\">delicious paellas<\/a> or tapas for a good meal. There are plenty of places to stop along the beach for something to eat or drink. You can also try Bacoa. There, you'll enjoy an incredible vegan menu accompanied by delicious French fries. Bacoa isn't just a vegan restaurant, it offers a variety of burgers, but I'd recommend the Gran Vegano. It's a <strong>a healthy and inexpensive delight<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc130232178\"><\/a><strong>Take advantage of the paths and walks accessible from the beach<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>After a dip in the ocean and a warm-up on the sand, it's time to explore this beach further. I recommend <strong>a walk along the beautiful promenade.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you feel like stopping for a break along the way, there are plenty of wooden paths that again provide access to the beach. You'll have unlimited opportunities to access the beach along the way.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc130232179\"><\/a><strong>An exceptional view<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La Platja de la nova icaria offers <strong>a breathtaking view of the skyline and Barcelona<\/strong>.
