In fact, it follows <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/en\/barceloneta-neighborhood\/\">la Barceloneta<\/a>the city's most famous beach, as well as Sant Sebasti\u00e0, with which it shares a direct border. The place owes its name to its proximity <strong>with the Sant Miquel del Port church.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Although small, this district is very central and lively. It's also one of the busiest spots on the city's coast, attracting tourists and young people alike, and is easily accessible by car. <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/en\/metro-barcelona\/\">metro<\/a> and in <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/en\/bus-barcelona\/\">bus<\/a>. You can take advantage of the various sports facilities on site. You can also enjoy a meal in one of the <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/en\/beach-bar-barcelona\/\">beach bars<\/a> which are just a few meters apart. You'll have a wide selection of cocktails to choose from, <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/en\/tapas-barcelona\/\">tapas<\/a> as well as more traditional dishes including <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/en\/paella-barcelona\/\">paella<\/a>croquettes and seafood.<\/p>\n<p>Sant Miquel beach is right next to Sant Sebasti\u00e0 beach. The latter is known as a famous nudist spot. Even though the naturist zone is separated from the rest of the beaches, you can still meet some of the best nudists in the area. <strong>who practice this way of life here.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sant Miquel also offers an exceptional view of the port. In fact, there are plenty of facilities on site to make your visit even easier. You'll find :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Public showers and toilets<\/li>\n<li>Public fountains<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If it's a little less well-equipped than the other beaches in the area, it's mainly because it attracts Barcelona residents. Indeed, it's not particularly touristy. Which makes it <strong>an excellent place to swim<\/strong>. In fact, you'll be surrounded by locals and can enjoy a quiet swim away from the crowds of holidaymakers.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc130288763\"><\/a><strong>How do I get there?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>To get there, you have a choice of different means of transport. It's perfectly served by :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Taking the bus <strong>lines 10, 14, 16, 17, 36, 39, 40, 45, 51, 57, 59 and 64.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Subway on the way out<strong> at the Barceloneta or Ciutadella stops on line L4 (Yellow).<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The streetcar thanks to the station<strong>\u00a0Ciutadella-Vila Ol\u00edmpica.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Sant Miquel beach is the perfect place if you want to enjoy a quiet spot in Barcelona. Here you can indulge in a variety of beach sports and enjoy a swim in the clear waters. You can also relax in one of the many seafront restaurants.
