The days also get longer, with sunset just before 9 p.m. at the beginning of the month. Rainfall is fairly low, which means you may need to find a shady spot for your visits. Instead, as you would for July, pack lots of light summer clothes,<strong> including a bathing suit.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc132228515\"><\/a><strong>Barcelona's climate in September<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>In September, the average high temperature falls by three degrees to 26\u00b0C, <strong>with the hottest weather occurring in the first half of the month.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Most of the time, you'll be able to wear your typical summer clothes, although you may need a few extra layers for the evenings. Thunderstorms are more frequent in September, and the average amount of precipitation increases. Which means bringing your umbrella is once again a good idea.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc132228516\"><\/a><strong>Barcelona weather in October<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Autumn is in full swing and October is a particularly good time to visit Barcelona for those who love the sun, <strong>but don't want to experience the intense summer heat or dense crowds.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The days are generally still sunny and warm, although temperatures average around 21\u00b0C. As there's a good chance of rain and clouds, as well as many sunny days, I'd advise you to bring sun cream and short-sleeved shirts, as well as a light coat and umbrella.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc132228517\"><\/a><strong>What's the weather like in Barcelona in November?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Not only does the city calm down considerably in November, but there's also a noticeable chill in the air, with average low temperatures falling to 8\u00b0C and average highs <strong>from around 19\u00b0C to 15\u00b0C<\/strong> from the first days to the end of the month.<\/p>\n<p>You won't need your light clothes or beachwear.
