As it is built on a mountain, it consists of several levels. As you approach the park, you already see two houses that are <strong>typically built in the style of Gaud\u00ed<\/strong>. Originally intended as a reception and janitor's house, they now serve as the entrance to the park.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc132229239\"><\/a><strong>Explore an architecturally rich park<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>As you enter the park, you'll notice the colorful ceramic salamander on the staircase. The salamander is <strong>decorated with trencad\u00eds<\/strong>This mosaic technique is common in Gaud\u00ed's work and consists of broken ceramic pieces. The salamander is also the park's symbol.<\/p>\n<p>Climb the stairs and you'll enter the Sala Hip\u00f3stila. This space is also known as the \"Sala de Cien Columnas\", a hall of a hundred pillars. This space was originally designed as a market. Nowadays, with its excellent acoustics, the musicians <strong>use the space to play music!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Above the Sala Hip\u00f3stila is a large oval square. From this square, you have a breathtaking view of the city. The square is surrounded by a winding embankment, which also serves as a balustrade. This is also decorated with trencad\u00eds.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc132229240\"><\/a><strong>A few tips for your visit<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Parc G\u00fcell is a big park, so take your time and stroll around. You can take advantage of public transport by taking the <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/en\/metro-barcelona\/\">metro<\/a> or the <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/en\/bus-barcelona\/\">bus<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The green line (L3) will take you there by getting off at Vallcarca or Lesseps stations. From the Vallcarca stop on line 3, it's a 15-minute walk, and I recommend that you <strong>take the escalator on Baixada de la Gl\u00f2ria<\/strong>Then head for the entrance to the Passage de Sant Josep de la Muntanya.<\/p>\n<p>From the Lesseps stop on line 3, walk 15 minutes to the entrance of the Sant Josep de la Muntanya passage, which also has an escalator.<\/p>\n<p>You can also get there using <strong>bus routes H6, 32, 24 and 92.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To save time, I recommend that you buy a ticket for Parc G\u00fcell.
