It's a <strong>one of the highlights of the Place d'Espagne.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For more information on the Magic Fountain, I suggest you visit the article that<a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/en\/magic-fountain-barcelona\/\"> I wrote about this some time ago.<\/a><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Place d'Espagne Barcelona: the MNAC<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Visit <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/en\/national-art-museum-of-catalonia\/\">MNAC<\/a> was originally built for the 1929 exhibition held in Barcelona. It features a wealth of Gothic, Romanesque, Baroque and Renaissance collections.<\/p>\n<p>It's certainly one of Barcelona's most important museums. It's the perfect place to discover art in Barcelona. Of course, you also have other options such as the <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/en\/macba\/\">MACBA<\/a> or the <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/en\/barcelona-museum-of-modern-art\/\">MEAM<\/a> for <strong>complete your artistic tour of the city.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Visit the German pavilion<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The pavilion was designed by the famous architect Mies van der Rohe, also for <strong>the 1929 International Exhibition.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It became a model for the International Style, which became the most popular architectural trend of the XX\u1d49 century. It is one of the world's greatest architectural monuments. It was recently transformed into a modern shopping center in the early 2010s, <strong>while retaining its original facade.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As well as a wide range of stores and restaurants, there's a gym, cinema and a fantastic rooftop terrace overlooking the square. Barcelona from an elevated vantage point.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>The Spanish Poble<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Visit <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/en\/poble-espanyol\/\">Poble Espanyol<\/a> is an open-air museum of Spanish architecture, reproducing famous buildings and streets from all over Spain, all in one place.<\/p>\n<p>The museum is also packed with stores selling typical Spanish crafts, souvenirs and, from time to time, concerts and exhibitions. If you're looking for something to take home for your loved ones, <strong>it's perhaps the best place in Barcelona.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Spain Square in Barcelona: the Caixaforum<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Finally, this <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/en\/caixaforum-barcelona\/\">art museum<\/a> presents exhibitions ranging from classical paintings to avant-garde installations. It also hosts music concerts and alternative cinema. It has been <strong>designed by architect Arata Isosaki.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc132427916\"><\/a><strong>How do I get to Barcelona's Pla\u00e7a d'Espagne?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>To get there, you can take advantage of the city's public transport system. In fact, public transport makes it easy to <strong>to the Pla\u00e7a d'Espagne in Barcelona.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>First of all, you can take the metro. Place d'Espagne has two metro lines with direct access from the city center. <strong>L1 (red)<\/strong> is only 4 stations from Plaza Catalu\u00f1a and <strong>L3 (green)<\/strong> is just 4 stations from Las Ramblas (Liceu station).<\/p>\n<p>You can also choose to take the bus. Buses\u00a0<strong>13, 50, 91 and H12<\/strong> take you directly to the Place d'Espagne.<\/p>\n<p>The Pla\u00e7a d'Espagne is a must-see on your visit to Barcelona.
