It is located in the relaxed, bohemian district of <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/en\/montjuic\/\">Montjuic<\/a>perched high above the city.<\/p>\n<p>Here, you can devour works of art from a variety of eras, including Renaissance, Romanesque, Gothic and Baroque pieces. Visit <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/en\/picasso-museum-barcelona\/\">Museu Picasso<\/a> is, in fact, Barcelona's most visited gallery and houses one of the world's most extensive collections of the artist's works.<\/p>\n<p>The works are presented in chronological order, from the artist's earliest paintings to his later experiments. Here, you can immerse yourself in Picasso's life and work. <strong>in his ever-evolving creative style.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For me, the Picasso Museum is a must-see when visiting Barcelona.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc132633419\"><\/a><strong>Art gallery in Barcelona: MACBA<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>As a bastion of contemporary art, <strong>MACBA (Contemporary Art Museum of Barcelona)<\/strong> is a perfect example of Barcelona's eclectic art scene. Featuring superb paintings, abstract pieces and a host of original installations, it highlights some of the finest artistic discoveries of the second half of the 20th century.<\/p>\n<p>With a regularly rotating exhibition program that changes every 3 months or so, it's a portal to the new-age work of some of Catalonia's finest artists. You can visit <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/en\/macba\/\">you can read it here.<\/a><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc132633420\"><\/a><strong>The Joan Mir\u00f3 Museum<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Miro's abstract deluges and colorful geometrical pieces deserve a gallery of their own. La <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/en\/miro-museum-barcelona\/\">Fundacion Joan Miro<\/a> manages to show them off perfectly.<\/p>\n<p>Boasting a massive collection of paintings, sculptures, tapestries and early sketches by the artist, it highlights the evolution of Miro's work and <strong>his growth as a world-renowned artist.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When you enter this place, you'll discover one of the most beautiful parts of Joan Miro's work.<\/p>\n<p>Not to be missed!<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc132633421\"><\/a><strong>Art gallery in Barcelona: the Antoni Tapies Foundation<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Another passionate Barcelona native, Antoni Tapies, died recently in 2012. Until then, he had been one of Barcelona's most popular artists, creating<strong> esoteric pieces that baffled people.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Today, the collection brings together many carefully selected paintings of the finest works by artists. It is also open to other contemporary Catalan artists. As a result, it's not unusual to constantly discover new works at the <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/en\/antoni-tapies-foundation\/\">Antoni Tapies Foundation.<\/a><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc132633422\"><\/a><strong>The Caixaforum in Barcelona<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>This cultural center is beautifully housed in a former modernist factory and boasts a stunning collection of contemporary art. Temporary exhibitions explore <strong>current social themes and issues<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The permanent gallery houses works by famous artists such as Antoni Tapies and Miquel Barcelo. If you're looking to discover the city's ever-changing contemporary art scene, the <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/en\/caixaforum-barcelona\/\">CaixaForum<\/a> is the place to go.<\/p>\n<p>As you can see, Barcelona is brimming with art galleries of all kinds.
