You will be able to visit it and perhaps attend a Match, during <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/en\/visit-barcelona\/\">your visit to Barcelona<\/a>\u00a0!<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Camp Nou presentation<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>In Catalan, <em>Camp Nou<\/em> means <em>New Land<\/em> and even though it was renamed Spotify Camp Nou in 2022, no fan uses the new name!<\/p>\n<p>After 3 years of work, it opened its doors <strong>September 24, 1957<\/strong> and becomes the official stadium of FC Barcelona, who previously played at the <em>Camp de les Corts<\/em> (between 1922 and 1957). The latter was destroyed in 1966.<\/p>\n<p>The city club will never leave this stadium and the <em>Corts <\/em>and for several decades the stadium hosted the exploits of its flagship team, as well as major international competitions. <strong>In 1982<\/strong>It hosted 5 World Cup matches won by Italy, the European Champion Clubs' Cup final in 1989 and the <strong>1999 Champions League final. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The largest stadium in Europe in terms of capacity, Barcelona's stadium reached a staggering 120,000 seats in 1982, before being reduced to <strong>99,354 seats<\/strong> for safety reasons. It is ahead of the <strong>Wembley<\/strong> in England with its 90,000 seats.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourbarcelone.fr\/en\/must-sees-in-barcelona\/\">a must-do activity<\/a> for soccer fans, who can follow in the footsteps of their favorite champions.
