Two hours from Barcelona, the town of Sant Feliu Sasserra celebrates the Fira de las Bruixes. With live music, plays and decorations, the town commemorates the 400 Catalan women accused of witchcraft in the 17th century.
This traditional festival offers visitors a variety of activities from the night of October 31 through to the weekend. Also in town is the Bruixeria Interpretation Center, where you can find out more about witches and their history in Sant Feliu Sasserra.
