And here's some feedback from a traveler who's been to Xera Restaurant :)
The tapas at this brand-new restaurant, located in a small, unassuming street, are a must. The "French" owner is very accommodating, and the service is top-notch, not to mention the very refined cuisine at a very reasonable price. Even if we looked hard enough, we couldn't find anything to complain about.

Eating out in Barcelona: local customs and habits
Breakfast in Barcelona
If you'd like to have breakfast outside, I suggest you go to one of the city's many cafés and order your " café con leche (café au lait) and your "croissant" or your "croissant". flauta de jamon y queso "("flute" of bread topped with ham and cheese).
Barcelonaers are also accustomed to ordering a fresh orange juice, a " tortilla francesa "(omelette) or a " bikini "(toasted bread with ham and cheese, a bit like our croque-monsieur).
Lunch in Barcelona
For lunch, most Barcelonaers opt for the reasonably-priced "menu del migdia" (a kind of daily menu served only at lunchtime).
You'll find the best value for money in Barcelona's "Tascas".
For tapas fans... lunch or dinner, it doesn't matter, it's available at any time!
Dinner in Barcelona
Dinner is generally "lighter" for Barcelonaers, often consisting of "pa amb tornaquet", a kind of bread with tomato pulp covered with cheese or cold meats.
Tapas are also (and obviously, I would say) queens of the typical Catalan dinner!
Lighter meals?
I assure you this is not my case when I'm in Barcelona!
Vacations are vacations, so I invite you to treat yourself to a good restaurant or tapas house !
The many hours of walking in the city deserve a reward!!!!
