Visit the Joan Miro Foundation if you're still looking for something to do in Barcelona
The Joan Miró Foundation is THE essential visit when you go to the Parc MontJuïc.
The informed and even the uninitiated are well aware that Joan Miró is one of the world's most important artists. emblematic from contemporary spanish artand, in particular, the Surrealist movement that made his name worldwide.
The foundation is located in Barcelona for a simple but important reason: where he was born and lived many parts of his life.
Very attached to his rootswhose love he expressed in many of his works, it was at the age of 80 years old that he inaugurates the eponymous foundation. This is the center that brings together the largest collection to date.
Undeniably close to French cultureis to Paris that he made some of the finest artistic encounters and friendships of his career: Masson, Breton, Aragon, Jacob, Éluard, Artaud, Leiris, Tzara, Picasso... It was also in France, in Paris, a hotbed of creativity and inventiveness, that his art was enriched and structured.
Finally, the island of Majorca was to be his home in old age, allowing him to completely detach himself from the influences and demands of other contemporaries, and devote himself solely to his art.
Painting, collage, sculpture, engraving, lithography, ceramics... the work of Joan Miró is exceptional. The premises hosting this permanent exhibition are particularly admirable and well worth a visit in themselves.

Visit Holy Cross Cathedral
Located in one of Barcelona's most emblematic neighborhoods, the Barri Gòticnot far from La Rambla, the Cathedral Sainte-Croix or Santa Creu is one of the Catalan capital's landmark monuments.
Why visit this particular cathedral? This is a monument whosehistory, l'architecture and the religious dimension have a particularly important place.
Inspiration GothicIt blends in perfectly with the spirit of the neighborhood, and many connoisseurs consider it to be a "masterpiece" in its own right. of rarely equalled conceptual beauty ".
I highly recommend a visit to the Cathedral!
Attend a Flamenco show
Stroll through the Parc de la ciutadella and visit the Zoo

Le quartier gothique de Barcelone is the city's oldest district. It's a labyrinth of boutiques, small squares and cafés.
One of the liveliest streets in the area is the carrer de la Porteferrissa with its lively boutiques selling low-priced clothes.
