A little nugget which I'm sharing with you here!
It's a bar that opened in early 2024 and for me is the best cocktail bar of the city.
A stone's throw from La Rambla, you'll find a wide choice of original cocktails (but you can also go for a classic, or simply say what you like and we'll make you a made-to-measure cocktail!) for a more than reasonable price! (a cocktail costs around €12).
A place of quality, where you feel very well, you spend a wonderful moment of relaxation.
And here's some feedback from a traveler who went to Numero tres bar :)
Superb quality cocktail bar! Very pleasant atmosphere and incredibly friendly owners! An address not to be missed!
See you soon 😉 and Thank you 🙏 Jb and VanesVanessa
Bar in Barcelona: Paradiso
Paradiso is a bar with a great reputation. It has even won numerous awards!
The place is popular and, if you can't make a reservation, you'll have to elbow and be patient to get a drink here. It's not uncommon to see long queues here.
The bar is small, with a lively atmosphere provided by the cheerful staff. You can expect cocktails that combine presentation with mixology. I recommend you try the Aurora cocktail, served on an illuminated base.
The venue opens :
- Every day from 5 p.m. to 2.30 a.m.
You can get there by exiting at Barceloneta station on the city's metro.
Le Two Schmucks
This place is a strange mix of international styles. This cocktail bar, founded by a Swede and a Brit, is currently run by two Frenchwomen.
The bar's stated ambition is to be a "five-star" bar. The luxury is reflected in the cocktails, which are innovative and thoughtful. For example, have you ever thought of mixing the flavors of Jerusalem artichoke with olive oil and white chocolate? Two Smucks has!
The bar is located on a small graffiti-covered street in the most sulphurous part of the old town, El Raval. Formerly known for prostitution and pickpockets, El Raval is now hip. The bar perfectly matches this atmosphere: irreverent and cool.
Le Two Smucks opens:
- Every day from 6 p.m. to 2.30 a.m.
To reach the site quickly, I suggest you take the metro and get off at Universitat.
Bar in Barcelona: Dr Stravinsky
For a more intimate and discreet cocktail bar, I highly recommend Dr Stravinsky. This cocktail bar in the El Born district in Barcelona looks a bit like an apothecary's store. They make their own infusions and blends, and on the walls are many bottles that look like potions.
The menu uses an interesting infographic to show cocktails on different flavor spectrums. I recommend the "Fatty De Paloma", a spicy cocktail with a bit of sweetness and accompanied by a nice smoke.
Unlike Paradiso, you're not as likely to have to queue for hours on end, even though it's busy after 7 o'clock.
Dr Stravinsky is located at 5, Carrer del Mirallers, close to numerous art galleries, including Picasso Museum and MOCO Museum. How to get there, get off at the Jaume I metro station.
The venue opens :
- Sunday to Friday 6 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Le Boadas
Boadas is a great little bar with a lot of history. When you walk in, the place is very intimate and doesn't seem to have changed much since its creation in the 1930s.
The place is filled with dark wood, art deco furniture and mirrors, with bar staff dressed in black tie, black suits and white shirts. It's said to be one of the first cocktail bars in Spain and Barcelona's oldest bar. The bar has been in the same family since the beginning.
The bar is right next to Las Ramblasjust a few steps from the Plaça de Catalunya on Carrer del Tallers. Make sure you come have a drink or two during your stay in the beautiful city of Barcelona.
The site remains open:
- Tuesday to Friday 12 p.m. to 1.30 a.m.
A visit to Barcelona is always incomplete without taking advantage of the bars on site. During your stay, don't hesitate to try one of these exceptional establishments. You won't be not disappointed by your trip!
