Visit the Casa Amatller house museum
You can visit the Casa Amatller museum in groups of up to 12 peopleand always accompanied by a guide. You can opt for a standard tour, lasting around an hour.
On this tour, you'll learn about the history of Antoni Amatller and his family, as you explore all the rooms on the first floor of the building, including the family's former private apartments.
One of the biggest attractions of visiting Casa Amatller is the fact that you'll be able to see some of the original furniture, arranged exactly as it was when the Amatller family lived there. This gives you the sensation of being transported back in time to Barcelona in the early XXᵉ century, and you'll get a sense of everyday life inside the house. You'll also see many decorative elements, the combined work of some 50 of the finest craftsmen of the time.
Something to keep in mind
Due to the fragility of the mosaic that covers almost the entire second floor, you won't be allowed to walk on it in stilettos, so make sure you wear suitable footwear when you visit. Also, to avoid damaging the floor, Protective gear will be provided to cover your shoes.
In any case, I'd advise you to take a pair of walking shoes with you on your day's visit. That way, you can enjoy the city without your feet hurting!

This video tour (in English, Spanish, French and Catalan) is shorter than the standard guided tour. It lasts approximately 40 minutes. This tour is ideal for those who don't have enough time to do the whole tour.
The exhibition is fully booked, but visitors won't want to miss the opportunity to discover one of the jewels of Catalan modernism.You must count :

- 9,50 € for children aged 7 to 12

- Monday to Sunday 10 am to 6 pm.

In the basement of the building, where the servants' apartments and Antoni Amatller's garage were located. There's also a souvenir store. The café is also in the basement, and is the ideal place to relax for a while, while enjoying one of their wonderful hot chocolates or another of their specialties.

As she left no children behind when she died, Antoni Amatller's daughter Teresa decided to sell the house. The Coll family, chocolatiers since 1840, acquired and continue to manage the Amatller brand. One of the unique features of the Chocolates Amatller brand is the modernist design it employs.
