Visit Casa Milà or " La Pedrera "(meaning "the stone quarry" because of its resemblance to a cliff) is a famous building in the city of Barcelona, by the no less famous Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí.
Built between 1906 and 1912The Casa Milà was designed as a private mansion and was Antoni Gaudí's penultimate project.
Here he used his own trademarks: nature and organic shapes.

Schedule for daytime visits to Casa Mila
- November 2 to December 24 and January 4 to March 2: open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- March 3 to November 1 and December 26 to January 3: open daily from 9:00 to 20:30
- Note: last entry 30 minutes before closing

- March 3 to November 5: Monday to Sunday, from 9 p.m.
- November 6 to December 24: Monday to Sunday, 7pm to 9pm

Description and history of Casa Mila - La Pedrera
Passeig de Gracia was, at the beginning of the 20th century, the place where the Barcelona bourgeoisie.

The name Pedrera "was given to it because of its resemblance to a stone quarry or even a rock shaped by the waves.
La Pedrera, with its 1835 m2, was built between 1906 and 1912.
The total package comprises 9 levels (including basement and attic) and is overlooked by a terrace.
The structure also houses 2 independent buildings, each with its own access door.
Visit 3 parts communicate only via the first floor but the common frontage provides a unified look from the outside.
