Public transport in downtown Barcelona
Getting around by Metro
The Barcelona metro covers most of the city and includes 11 lines which can be identified by color and number.

Barcelona's tramway was put back into service in 2004.

Getting around by bus and night bus
Visit bus serve you very well the center of Barcelona.
The night bus service is called Nit Bus and also covers a large part of the of the city and its suburbs.
Most of Barcelona's night bus routes start operating between 10.40pm and 11.40pm until 5am or 6am depending on the line.
It takes about 1 bus every 20 minutes at weekends and 30 minutes on weekdays for Nit Bus.
