A stone's throw from La Rambla, you'll find a wide choice of original cocktails (but you can also go for a classic, or simply say what you like and we'll make you a made-to-measure cocktail!) for a more than reasonable price! (a cocktail costs around €12).

A place of quality, where you feel very well, you spend a wonderful moment of relaxation.

Cocktail bars in Barcelona: the Slow

For a chic experience, it's hard to beat a night at Slow, where celebrity bartender Fran Mekk whips up some real alchemy by preparing some of the city's most mouth-watering concoctions.

Try their Capitan Barbarroja, Spiced Margarita, or perhaps a Shilin, Baobob or Mojave from their new "À Forest" menu, inspired by habitats from around the world.

The bar is frequented by a well-dressed Catalan crowd, who meet and chat in the bar early in the evening. Later in the night, Slow's upstairs discotheque transforms into a an eclectic mix of dancefloor-friendly tunes.

You can also enjoy live music every Friday and Saturday night from 9.30pm. An excellent option if you want to discover an authentic slice of Barcelona's nightlife, outside the touristy old town.

La Whiskeria

This elegant lounge is as sophisticated as the 1,000 blends of whisky it stocks behind its long, refined bar. All the elegant furnishings have been purchased and restored at antique markets, making this modern venue timeless.

Spaces full of couches and lounge chairs have a certain seductive appeal. Naturally, the house specialties are whisky cocktails.

If whisky isn't your poison, you can also select one of their other concoctions, like Eastern Bubbles, a spicy gin'n'tonic.

Cocktail bars in Barcelona: Boadas

This place has perfectly preserved its 1930s ambience. This legendary bar is the oldest cocteleria not only in the city, but in the country!

If you like your Martinis blended by a tuxedo-clad pro, be sure to stop by this bar with their red door on Las Ramblas. You'll be delighted with your visit to this bar and will be able to spend an exceptional moment with your friends.

The Milk

This 1950s-style bar and bistro has won a place in the hearts of many visitors to Barcelona. Indeed, many return a second time to enjoy another drink. On the menu, you'll find a wide range of drinks, including the particularly tasty Revolver and Savage Whisky.

You can find Milk just a few steps from the Gothic districtright next to the post office. If you're looking for a bite to eat the next day, this is also one of the best brunch spots in town.

This used to be an unpretentious Czech bar. It was a popular spot for locals. Now, however, the place has been reimagined as a kind of botanical laboratory from the XIXᵉ century, filled with interconnected tubes, flasks and funnels.

The name is taken from a fictional psychiatrist, and there's certainly something diabolical and fantastic about the cocktails. Indeed, they are as tempting as they are original. Plants play an important part in the creative process, and don't be surprised if your drink is served in a vase.

Elisabets is located in the district ofEl Ravaljust a few minutes from Las Ramblas. It attracts locals looking for an afternoon drink and snack. The varied menu includes a selection of tapas, hot and cold sandwiches prepared with the finest ingredients. classic ingredients such as botifarra sausage or Spanish omelette.

They also have small dishes such as croquetas, fried calamari and a selection of Catalan charcuterie. The restaurant is appreciated for its relaxed, family atmosphere, traditional Catalan menu and reasonable prices. Elisabets is ideal for a lunch or dinner break. a quick dinner in one of Barcelona's historic districts.

Ramon's bar

Bar Ramon is a popular tapas bar located in a lively area of Barcelona. Famous for its quality cuisine, it serves an extensive menu of classic Catalan dishes and Spanish tapas, as well as for its lively atmosphere.

It's difficult to get in without a reservation, however, as the bar is very popular. The dining room is tastefully decorated as a tribute to some of the greatest rock'n'roll musicians. The walls, covered with posters and other accessories, recall the era, creating a unique ambiance.

Bar Ramon is the ideal place to enjoy traditional Catalan dishes, and is a must-see. for lovers of tapas and music.

There's no seating at Quimet & Quimet, so you'll have to stand at the bar or outside. This is a a must for lovers of montaditos and traditional Spanish tapas.

Cheap tapas in Barcelona: La Xampanyeria

Bardeni - Caldeni is one of those restaurants that needs no introduction. Bardeni - Caldeni is a top-class restaurant offering an excellent menu and an exquisite special selection of meats.

Small and unique, Can Josep is run by Josep and his son, who are the soul of the kitchen and offer the very best of home-cooked Catalan cuisine to their loyal customers. Can Josep is a small restaurant, a little hidden away, but well worth the detour, where you can spend some quality time with family and friends while savouring the local specialities. the best local dishes.

El Nacional is Barcelona's fantastic gastronomic complex offering the ultimate Spanish cuisine experience. The complex consists of four bars featuring wine, beer, oysters and cocktails, and four restaurants: braseria, taperia, lljota and parada.

Like the bars, each restaurant has a theme. La Braseria is for meat lovers, La taperia specializes in tapas, La Lljota focuses on fish and La Parada offers sandwiches and quick sweets.

Boca Grande is famous for its toilets. Yes, you read that right. An exceptional design awaits you. Order ceviche, scallops or crayfish here, and take a look at these unusual toilets too!

The tasting menu starts with 3 savory tapas and is followed by 5 desserts, which then end with 3 sweet tapas. This is no ordinary dining experience! It's a very small place with only 12 places available, so make sure you reserve a table! Don't forget to accompany your desserts with a good cocktail!

Flax&Kale is known as Barcelona's first flexitarian restaurant. A flexitarian is a person who follows a vegetarian diet, but who also eats meat, poultry or fish in reasonable quantities.

The menu here is 80 % plant-based, with the remaining 20 % containing fish or meat. The team's aim is to show everyone that a healthy diet is not difficult to achieve. Customers rave about the quality of each dish. The atmosphere is cosy and the restaurateurs are very friendly. Visit the place to enjoy their extremely creative menus. I assure you, it's well worth it!

This affordable restaurant serves all kinds of paella. Take a bite of their made-to-order mixed paella and you'll know it's their specialty. In it, you'll find meat, seafood and vegetables. If you don't like meat, I recommend their vegetarian paella, a real delight.

Most small tastings start at €35 per person and go up to €50, so if you're looking for cheap, hearty paella in Barcelona, this is the place to go.

The restaurant is located in the Eixample district and can be reached by by getting off at the Diagonal station of the city's metro system.

Le Paella Club

Why not prepare Barcelona's best paella under the guidance of a top chef?

The elegant decor, fancy aprons and Masterchef-style workstations for cooking paella can look like a TV competition. This experience consists of learn to cook a gastronomic version of Spain's emblematic dish.

After your cooking class, you'll taste your creation accompanied by a fine wine. Followed by a gin and tonic dessert.

To get there, first join the Raval district. To do this, take the metro and get off at Liceu station. From here, it's a 5-minute walk to this very special restaurant.

Paella in Barcelona: the Xinguito Escriba

On one of Barcelona's most beautiful beaches is Xinguito Escriba, one of my favorite places to eat delicious paella. It's a perfect place to stop after a long day walking under the sun.

Seafood lovers will marvel at its delicious paella negra (squid ink paella). Please note, the portions are generous and I advise you to leave a little room for dessert.

Reservations are essential at inguito Escriba. If you decide to drop in without a reservation, expect to wait at least 30 minutes before you can order your paella.

To get there, first go to the Barceloneta district by borrowing Llacuna metro exit.

Restaurant Envalira

This charming family-style restaurant has been serving authentic paella in Barcelona since 1972. I love Envalira's location on the emblematic Plaça del SolThis gives you the chance to really immerse yourself in the Catalan community atmosphere of the Gracia district.

In fact, if you're looking for traditional Catalan dishes, then arrós a la Milanesa, a hybrid paella-risotto made with chicken broth, parmesan and saffron, is just the thing.

To get to Envalira, we recommend the following take the metro and get off at Fontana station on the green line.

Paella in Barcelona: 7 Doors

Here, it's all about old-world charm. The place has been serving traditional paella for generations. Thanks to its quality and reputation, this establishment offers one of Barcelona's best paellas.

Picasso was a regular at this restaurant, which opened in 1836. Named after the restaurant's seven entrance doors, it houses not only some of Barcelona's best paellasBut the pianists create an atmosphere similar to that offered in the early days of the establishment.

Ideal for an evening out as a couple, the venue is sure to delight. I advise you to make a reservation before coming. The venue is located in Barceloneta district and is easily accessible via the metro station of the same name.

La Ciudadela

This new restaurant not only offers quality paella, but also a range of rice specialties for those wishing to discover the city's culinary culture.

Duck paella really stands out from the crowd and I advise you to give it a chance. You'll also love the tapas served on the premises. There are also incredible shrimp carpaccios if you're hungry for seafood.

The two medium-sized dining rooms have a family atmosphere, ideal for immersing yourself in Catalan culture. The wine list is also one of the best in town, should you wish to sample the local vineyards.

The best way to get there is to take the the metro and get off at Arc de Triomf station in the Eixample district.

If you're a little short on budget, I suggest you visit one of our cheap restaurants in Barcelona.

Vapiano is an Italian restaurant chain located in the Diagonal Mar shopping centerin a huge, well-decorated and highly original space. You can personalize your pizza and they let you know when it's finished.

As for the pasta, you can choose it on the spot, along with its condiments. It's cooked in front of you in just a few minutes.

To enjoy the Italian delights of this establishment, you have to go there:

Le Casal

Le Casal is a typical Barcelona restaurant, located in one of the city's best areas: the district ofEl Born. Although its tapas aren't the cheapest, I'd recommend it for its excellent menu featuring dishes from French cuisine.

You can enjoy a drinks menu for around €11. What's more, this restaurant's menu is one of the best in town.

Cheap restaurant in Barcelona: La Fonda del Port Olímpic

If you're in Barcelona, you shouldn't miss a good paellaIt's one of the country's signature dishes. In this restaurant in the Port OlímpicIt's a very pleasant place, right in the middle of the port, with beautiful views.

As for price, a good paella costs only about 15 € per person. However, given the quality and prices charged in town, this place is considered very inexpensive.

La Tasqueta de Blai

If you want to go out for tapas in Barcelona on the cheap, La Tasqueta de Blai might be the place for you. Their kebabs are very good and very inexpensive, most cost less than €2 and they come in a variety of hot and cold varieties.

The only drawback is that the location is in Poble SecIt's a bit far from the center of Barcelona, but if you're in the area, I'd advise you to go there. You'll find a friendly place with affordable prices and excellent food.
