What to expect at Ice Barcelona
At the entrance to this wonderland, you'll be given a jacket and gloves to keep you warm... but I'd still recommend a few extra layers! Next up, you can explore the Ice Barcelona.
One of the main attractions this place has to offer is its ambience. Here, you can enjoy an ice-cold drink while listening to popular tunes.
Iced decorations
On top of this, the bar features ice sculptures scattered throughout the establishment all year round. This feature makes this bar-turned-museum a truly unique place to have a drink in Barcelona.
From gorillas and other animals to the infamous Pennywise clown from the hit film IT, the sculptures are true works of art, and well worth a visit in their own right! They are maintained by the same renowned artists who created them. until they are replaced in December.
Besides, Noël is one of the best times of the year to visit Ice Barcelona. In fact, you can watch the installation of the new sculptures and be the first to witness the bar's new look!
Drinks available at Ice Barcelona
Now for the most important part: the drinks on offer. With particular attention paid to the menu, the organizers behind these ice bars have taken precautions to ensure that certain drinks don't explode when stored in sub-zero conditions, which means that the only soft drinks on offer are beers.
So all you have to do is try their specialty cocktails, which are safe, tasty and easy to drink! You're bound to find the cocktail you need on the spot. However, I recommend you try their Cosmopolitan. If you're a vodka lover, the latter is to die for.
