First of all, you should be aware that the queues at the Picasso Museum are usually quite long. That's why I recommend buying your tickets online in advance. You can hire an audioguide in the language of your choice on site.
It's also good to know that children and teenagers up to the age of 18 enter free of charge.
Now let's focus on the paying options available to you. There are a number of different possibilities.
Three types of ticket available
First of all, you can take advantage of the basic admission ticket. This costs 12 for adults and €7 for over-65s.
If you would like to take advantage of this ticket and audioguide, you will be charged an additional €5. The audioguide is available in several languages, including French and English.
You can also pick up your admission ticket at Picasso Museum with the option of multi-stop buses. This gives you access to a combined ticket for the multi-stop bus and the Picasso Museum. For this you need 42 € for adults, 28 € for children aged 13 to 17, 16 € for children aged 4 to 12 and free for children under 4.

When is the best time to visit the Musée Picasso?

On regular days, there can be a long queue. Inside, you won't see huge crowds. In fact, the museum is large enough to accommodate many people. Early in the morning and at the end of the day, it's often a little quieter.. These are the times I recommend to visit the place.

It closes on Mondays, January 1ᵉʳ, May 1ᵉʳ, June 24, December 25 and 26.

You can visit the Musée Picasso free of charge on certain days:
- First Sunday of the month 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Every Thursday from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
- For Museum Night on May 18 and La Mercè September 24th
