This classic Gracia district is very popular with the locals. This establishment is just across the street from the Mercat de la Llibertat, a charming market. in a modern building.
Sit at the long wooden bar, soak up the lively atmosphere and try the classic esmorzar de forquilla, or simply : breakfast with knife and fork.
You'll get a plate of scrambled eggs with pancetta and a tasty Spanish tortilla you won't soon forget.

Granja Viader
Granja Viader is my favorite place in Barcelona. Here, you feel like a child again.
It has the atmosphere of an old bakery where your grandmother used to take you as a child. Granja Viader has been around since 1870. It was originally a dairy store. Today, it's a they still make their own yogurt.
If you're looking for a traditional sweet breakfast of crema catalana (a type of crème brûlée), mel i mató (a ricotta with walnuts and honey) or sweet ensaimadas, you've come to the right place.

You can reach the Granja Viader via the green metro line L3. by getting off at Liceu station.
Breakfast in Barcelona: Pinocchio
When people ask for Barcelona's best breakfast for authenticity, I tell them right away about Pinocchio.
It's the perfect place to sample traditional Catalan cuisine, sitting in a bar in the heart of a bustling market, hailing the barman for a coffee like a local.
Here, I recommend opt for chickpeas and blood pudding. Just be sure to arrive early, as places are precious and the establishment is often fully booked.

Avenida Palace Hotel
If you're looking for a buffet breakfast, look no further.
This luxury hotel even welcomed the Beatles in the 60s for their only Spanish tour.
Linger over the delicious jamon iberico. Add sausages, scrambled eggs and freshly baked croissants and you're ready to go. you end up with the perfect breakfast.
The easiest way to reach the site is by metro thanks to the Passeig de Gracia.
Breakfast in Barcelona: Le Caravelle
High ceilings, comfortable chairs and the feeling of brunch in a warehouse, that's the atmosphere you'll find at Le Caravelle.
Here you can enjoy updated classics such as shredded pork eggs Benedict and French toast with ricotta and fruit compote. Other dishes include avocado on toast, huevos rancheros and a full vegetarian breakfast.
Try their famous Dirty Chai Latte, an espresso combined with chai tea and milk, or a craft beer.
