A few tips for shopping in Barcelona's supermarkets
In Spain, supermarkets do not distribute free plastic bags, in order to reduce the impact of this material on the environment. Each bag usually costs a token fee, such as 5 or 10 cents. I recommend bring your own bags when shopping.
If you're planning to go shopping, check the store's opening hours first. That's right, some establishments close at lunchtimeThey reopen around 1.30 p.m./2 p.m. and do not reopen until 5 p.m.
If you hate queuing, try to avoid peak hours. This advice also applies to the hours closest to lunchtime and after 6 p.m.
Sometimes, when visiting a foreign city, we need to do our own shopping. Whether you're staying in an aparthotel, or just feel like grabbing a bite to eat between two visits, you'll find everything you need here. in Barcelona supermarkets.
