Mexican restaurant in Barcelona: article summary
Mexican restaurant in Barcelona: Quiote Mezcaleria
Without a doubt, my favorite Mexican restaurant in Barcelona. At Quiote MezcalerÃa, you'll find authentic Mexican flavors, but also the country's characteristic warmth. Personally, Quiote MezcalerÃa has it all: high-quality ingredients, traditional Mexican dishes and excellent service.
One of the things I love most about Quiote MezcalerÃa is that everything is homemade from scratch. Try the green apple guacamole as an appetizer, served with homemade totopos. In the mood for tacos? I recommend the carnitas or the lengua. And if you want to try one of the most authentic Mexican dishes, commandez vegetables or corvina fish with pipian, a sauce made from pumpkin seeds and chilli pepper.

A visit to Oaxaca means going to one of Barcelona's most elegant Mexican restaurants, but that's not all. Oaxaca is renowned for its conservation ancient Mexican culinary techniques. Here, guests can enjoy the full Mexican experience: guacamole prepared at your table, homemade chicharron (fried pork skin), an open kitchen with a "comal" (tortilla plate).

Mexican restaurant in Barcelona: Cantina Machito
A Mexican restaurant in Barcelona you won't want to forget: Cantina Machito in Gracia. This restaurant was one of the first Mexican restaurants in Barcelona to serve authentic Mexican cuisine instead of Tex-Mex. Cantina Machito has the appearance of a typical Mexican fonda. Fondas are small restaurants serving hearty home-cooked meals. and are an integral part of everyday Mexican life.
They serve traditional dishes such as "sopa de tortilla", "pozole" and "papadzules". They have very good chilaquiles, enchiladas and enmoladas. Café de olla", a Mexican-style coffee, is also available.

El Pachuco
Sitting down at El Pachuco can be difficult due to their popularity. So I recommend arriving early or reserving your table. Here you'll find typical Mexican street food: tacos, sopes, quesadillas and tostadas. Even if you're tempted to try it all, you should know that the portions are enormous!
The facility opens :

When you're in Barcelona, I recommend you visit one of these places. You'll be able to appreciate the diversity of dishes and enjoy a hearty, authentic Mexican meal!
