Where to eat cheap: Sifo

Would you like to eat Argentinian food? I recommend visit the Sifó restaurant. Creative masters in meat cooking, they serve you exceptional grilled meats.

I'd also recommend trying their empanadas and Argentine pizzas, something hard to find in Barcelona. As far as prices are concerned, you'll find plenty of dishes at very affordable prices in this restaurant. Enough to eat without breaking the bank.

Gat Blau

This restaurant offers a lunch menu organic, traditional and creative at under €12 where six of the eight dishes are vegetarian. What's more, the menu changes daily! You'll also find a number of refined shrimp dishes.

If you prefer meat, the restaurant serves delicious veal cannelloni wrapped in zucchini. For dinner, you can immerse yourself in the great kitchen for around €25. A reasonable price in the Catalan capital.

Where to eat cheap in Barcelona: Bar Casi

Le Bar Casi se situe

dans une partie la plus déserte de Gràciaon a steep road. You may not be impressed by the ambience, but I'd advise you to skip the 6 tables and take a look at the menu.

The place also offers warmth and a dynamic, positive atmosphere. The owners offer full breakfasts every day, as well as a variety of snacks.a generous "home-made" lunch menu for around €12. What's more, you're treated like a good customer who's been eating here every day for decades.

The Casi bar opens:

• Monday to Friday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The Iakni

The Iakni offers an exotic touch in a neighborhood with a variety of culinary offerings. From the kitchen come classics of Lebanese cuisine created with love. Hummus, baba ganoush, falafel and kefta sandwiches are all excellent.

Everything is homemade and prepared with quality products: the shawarma is not cut from a suspect block of meat, but from a veal fillet treated with respect. This respect for quality ingredients makes all the difference.

Where to eat cheap in Barcelona: La Taquería

The owners of this restaurant say they do Mexican street food. And they do it well: their tacos are phenomenal and their quesadillas are made with care and without industrial cheddar.

The menu features informal Mexican dishes, with weekends reserved for more traditional fare such as aguachiles and Mexican-style chicken. The ambience is also a notch above the norm, with a typical Mexican decor, modern and colorful.

La Taqueria offers Mexican dishes:

• Sunday to Thursday from 1 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
• Friday and Saturday from 1 p.m. to midnight
