The Aquàrium is located in Barcelona's Old Port (Port Vell). a great fun activity but also interesting, because you're going to learn a lot.

How do I get to the Barcelona Aquarium?
To get to the Aquàrium gates, it's easy to walk from Plaça Catalunya towards the sea. It's right in the heart of the city.
With the metroyou can go out to theDrassanes metro stop (Green Line) or Barceloneta Metro (Yellow Line). Alternatively, the V17 Vertical bus, which crosses the whole city, will take you there too, and what's more, you'll enjoy a beautiful view of the city from top to bottom.

The Aquàrium is home to several species of shark, including grey sharks. The incredible appearance of the aquarium means you can admire them from every angle, and understand why these animals are so fascinating.

An educational place
If you're coming with children, or if you're a teacher with a group of pupils, you'll be delighted to discover that the Aquàrium has paid particular attention to teaching about species. All kinds of activities are organized, and a special children's area is well worth a visit.

Special activities: dive or sleep with the sharks!
If you're a fan of original experiences, the Aquàrium has a few special activities in store for you. You can be let loose in a cage among sharks. For 150 euros, you'll be able to share their environment. A good scare!
But if you're a licensed diver, you can go and greet the species directly in the aquariums and spend a few hours with them. a unique moment with them!
You can also sleep on site, facing the marine species.
Barcelona Aquàrium prices
Basic adult admission costs 21 euros.
Admission is free for children under three.
From the age of three, the price is 8 euros, and from the age of five, the price is 16 euros.
Ask about the family pack if you have a family with two children.
Barcelona Aquàrium opening times
Schedules vary throughout the year according to the season.
The Aquàrium opens daily at 10 a.m. and closes between 7.30 and 8 p.m. all year round.
Weekends in low season often close between 8pm and 8:30pm. In high season (June to September) and on weekends, we close at 9pm.
How long does the tour last?
To make the most of the species and animals, plan a minimum ofan hour and a half for your visit.
